Who we are
Cramers Landscaping LLC is a family-run landscaping, hardscaping and outdoor structures company based in Summerville, South Carolina, serving Charleston and the Lowcountry. This policy covers cramerslandscaping.com and the chat assistant on it.

What we collect, and when
We only collect what you type in. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.
When you fill in the consultation form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the property address, and whatever you tell us about the project. Everything except the project description is required, because we cannot quote a yard we cannot find or call you back without a number.
When you use the chat: whatever you type. If you ask us to get in touch, the chat also collects your name, phone number, and your email address and project details if you give them.
Automatically: ordinary web analytics about which pages are visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device it was. We also record how visits move through the site — mouse movement, scrolling and clicks — so we can see where a page confuses people. What you type into the form is hidden from those recordings, and none of this is tied to a name.
What we use it for
To answer you, to arrange and carry out a consultation, to quote and schedule work, and to keep records of the jobs we have done. Analytics we use to see which pages are useful and which are not.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles it
Running a website means a handful of companies touch the data on our behalf. These are the ones that do:
- Formspree delivers the form and chat enquiries to us by email.
- Cloudflare serves the site and runs the chat assistant.
- Hostinger hosts the website itself.
- Google provides Analytics, which tells us how the site is used. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that.
- Microsoft provides Clarity, which shows us how visits move through the pages. Microsoft’s Privacy Statement applies to that.
How long we keep it
Chat conversations are stored for 180 days and then deleted automatically. Phone numbers and email addresses are masked before a conversation is stored, so the stored copy does not contain them.
Enquiries that arrive by email, and the records of work we have done, we keep for as long as we are working together and afterwards for our own business records.
Cookies
The site sets a small number of cookies: some so the pages load quickly, and some for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. None of them are advertising cookies, and we do not use the site to follow you around the internet. Your browser can block or delete cookies; the site will still work.
Asking us to delete your details
Email doug@cramerslandscaping.com or call (843) 614-9773 and ask. We will delete what we hold, other than anything we have to keep for tax or warranty reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.
Children
This is a site for homeowners planning work on their property. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top. Last updated September 2026.
